A/V, Contracting & Tour Sound

Drew Milano had been with Metro North Marketing for 10 years before joining the John B. Anthony Company in 2004. His background prior to joining Metro North Marketing was in professional audio sales and recording engineering. He has earned Platinum, Gold, Grammy, and Cleo awards during his 15 years experience as a studio recording and chief engineer.

For the past seven years, Drew has taken his talents and directed them towards the contracting and tour sound markets where the advent of DSP technology and the need for sophisticated system integration have become the norm. His ability to understand, and more importantly to communicate, software programs and applications to his customers are most valuable.

Drew currently calls on an active database of A/V Integrators and consultants providing them with product knowledge and integration engineering.

Drew is a graduate of both Farleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. in Fine Arts Music and the Institute of Audio Research.

Pro Audio/DJ Market

Angelo Fecci joined JBA-Metro Reps in August of 2006. Before joining JBA-Metro Reps, Angelo managed a Pro Audio and DJ retail operation in our territory for eight years. In addition to managing the retail location, he also designed, developed and deployed a fully integrated e-commerce solution for the retailer.

Angelo has also been a professional DJ for the past 15 years, employing multiple roles in performing, music production and marketing, a necessary mix of skills in today’s industry.

Angelo services the Sam Ash Music Store chain, supports independent retailers in our territory and manages the John B. Anthony Company’s marketing communications operations.

Angelo is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Accounting.

In addition to the John B. Anthony Company there is VSO Marketing, L.L.C. VSO Marketing specializes in the distribution of professional audio and video conferencing products to A/V integrators throughout the northeastern United States.

Ira Friedland is the Director of Sales for VSO Marketing. Ira has been directly employed by the John B. Anthony Company for the past 19 years. Ira’s responsibility is to service the A/V system integrators within our immediate territory. Metro New York has a high concentration of Fortune 500 companies amongst the financial, legal, and pharmaceutical arenas making this a very important vertical market for all our manufacturers. Prior to joining the John B. Anthony Company, Ira worked for Sony for six years both as a consumer Video8 Specialist and then as a Pro Video Sales Associate. His knowledge of the video industry and its “players” has proven to be most valuable.

Ira is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Tom Viola has been a member of The John B. Anthony Company since 1981. After completing his education at Queens College in New York, his audio industry sales experience was gained at Kenwood Electronics. Tom has been an active musician since the 1970’s. He has extensive experience in both consumer and professional electronics sales, and he is now focused on the music retail market for The John B. Anthony Company and VSO Marketing, servicing independent retailers with sales support and product training.
